Living Weather & Wallpaper Pro App Reviews

As pretty as the app is as a screensaver, it is very intrsusive. I installed. As a screensaver it ate up my brand new battery in an hour! Okay, so I turned off the screen saver. Battery use imporved, but now the square box appears even when I don’t want it to, for example, it bleeds right through a power point presentation. I could not get rid of it for anything! I didn’t find out until too late that it was showing through the Power Point and my audience in one city could not see my whole presentation while they read the temperature in another city. TERRIBLE. I still can’t get rid of it. Disappointing.

I like to know the time and what the day’s weather is going to be. This helps me know how to dress for work and the clock lets me know if I am running late or can dawdle a bit!!!

Love the movements, love the simplicity. I lost my hard drive and it was the first thing I pulled back in again.

The app is wonderfuloly customizable. I am really enjoying it!

Pretty pleased with the app for what it does but sometimes it can place itself on top of other apps even though its settings are turned off for that feature. Even with the few minor flaws, the app is still well worth it.

I have been a user of living weather for over a year. Never any problems with it; and the best feature for myself, is being able to have an alternate city and timzone on the dock app on the desktop, to keep up on my daughter in France. Update 1_19_2016; works great, really beautiful, but the best part is it’s a weather app that keeps you up to date; with quick glance! Which until you wish to know more is what you really need to keep informe. The wallpaper is stunning, although sometimes I wish to switch with a motivational desktop image of my own, but the wall paper is like instant weather communication, withiut words!

Beautiful, functional, desktop display. The clouds are a bit cartoonish, but apart from that, love it!

Weather always stay one or two days behinde when you keep your computer on sleep mode

Finally, my weather itch has been scratched. Gives me all I need or want and does in beautifully. I do wish it took a little less disc space.

I hope to see more in the near future. Maybe an app refinement and some added features would be nice in addtion to the added wallpapers. All and all, a decent application and my go to weather app.

Love this app and the way the pictuires move as if real. I have the pictures reflect the actual weather. Soothing!

This comment is not a game changer, however, the snow animation just does not look natural as the other animations. I have been pleased with the tracking of current weather conditions, but the snow just looks unnatural. …just saying this again after almost three years.

This update provides stunning new visuals, as well as “ghosting” clocks that are unobtrusive… I am very pleased with my purchase, and recommend it for anyone who has a retina display…(Mine is mid 2012 on my laptop)…IMHO quite elegant… :-)

Best $2.99 I’ve spent in a long time. More live scenes please. Excellent!!!!

I would like to be able to put it where I want it, not just in a corner. Otherwise, no complaint.

I love this app. I use it to have a large extended forecast on top of my wallpaper. I also keep it in my dock for an always visible immediate forecast. Works well. No crashes, no performance hits. Worthwhile purchase.
