I love this app , well designed very pleasing to the eye.

This is a solid app and worth buying. The graphics on the desktop are beautiful but, like all weather programs the information provided is not always accurate. For example, I am currently sitting beside a window on a clear and sunny day. The app is showing me a current weather forecast of clouds with light snow. Couldn’t be more wrong. All in all a good app that I have enjoyed using each and every day. I’m sure you will as well.

Graphics are more than I need- nice and clean but there is one glaring omission, unless it is hidden where I have not found it- This app is missing the sinlge most useful tool for anyone needing accurate up to the minute weather information. There is no direct link to Environment Canada Weather Radar. EC Weather Radar is the single most useful up to the minute (refresh rate every ten minutes) projection of precipitation- rain, snow or freezing rain that I have found anywhere. To not include it is a major omission that makes this a nice thing to have but not a must have. Coupling the nice parts in place with EC weather radar link to the same location would make it an essential tool.

Positive: - Great Graphics - Many weather options - easy to setup Some improvements needed: - Low and highs are the reverse of every other weather app or site, Low temp/ over night is first and daytime is second. - Desktop background takes a lot of macbook resources - No hot links or drill down for more weather information

very good program, equal to clear day, also the help centre is outstanding, they give quick correct answers to any questions. IF it updated more often it would be 5 star.

It does what it says it does and provides great scenes for weather reports. Great app!

I used to love this app. Then I upgraded to Yosemite. Now every time I launch it, my WindowServer stays at 75% CPU utilization or higher. I have tested extensively with all my apps, and it is absolutely 100% clear that the culprit is Living Weather HD. So for now I have disabled it. But what’s the point of that? Please give me an updated version that works with Yosemite, or give me my money back.

I’ve tried to contact the developer twice about the app just randomly changing my desktop even though I have it set not to… but I’ve gotten no response from them! Didn’t have this problem until the Yosemite upgrade. The free version has been updated to Yosemite, but the paid version has not!! What the heck is up with that! This app would have gotten 5 stars if they would RESPOND TO CUSTOMER PROBLEMS and if they’d UPDATE FOR THEIR PAYING CUSTOMERS!!!!! UPDATE: On October 29th, I finally received a response. They said an update has been submitted to Apple and they are just waiting for Apple to release it. If and when the problem is corrected, I will update my review again.

Great graphics, clear information, multiple display/formet options

Clear presentation and has as much wetaher information youll need without taking up too much desktop space. Have tried various other weather wallpapers and found this the best. No need for Facebook, Twitter or news feeds when all I’m looking for is the weather. Well worth the $3.

This app looks nice and works well. My only problem is that it wanders around my desktop a bit when my computer goes to sleep and wakes up. Not a huge thing, but kind of an annoyance for someone who’s as anal as me about keeping a clean desktop. It also might be user error or pages causing the glitch, but none of the rest of my apps behave this way so to me that suggests that it’s the weather app at fault. Anyway, other than that this is a good app and serves it’s purpose well.

I love a good background, but when i purchased this program my computer took on a life of its own. I love how the backgrounds change with the different weather. I just wish they could localize the program scenes to where you live (e.g., scenes from the desert if you live in Arizona or New Mexico). I know when the weather is changing as i sit at my computer and the scene changes from sunny to rainy weather. It is woth the money paid.

I love how the pictures change with the weather and it’s accurate with our local forecasts. I’d really recommend it.

Very nice ap with good functionality. Since Yosemite install, looped scenes operate at accelerated rate. Usually returns to normal speed once I open another application. Or I just change the scene in preferences and that returns it to normal speed as well.

attractive, not obtrusive and accurate. Has a bit of delay catching up after my computer goes to sleep.

One of the best apps I’ve purchased, practical, and a definite upgrade to the bleak desktop.
